EVERTON 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON
93: Danny Ings nearly pounces on a loose ball but Holgate makes the block and clears it into orbit and Niasse goes chasing.
WEST HAM 1-2 BOURNEMOUTH
91: West Ham fans are pouring out of the stadium. They don’t see any point in hanging around.
WEST HAM 1-2 BOURNEMOUTH
87: West Ham throwing a few more men forward, as Begovic is down well to easily save from Wilshere.
EVERTON 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON
85: Everton will wonder how they haven’t got this in the bag. Alex McCarthy makes a great save to deny Gueye from distance.
LEICESTER 2-0 WOLVES
80: Woodwork! That’s a hat-trick for Wolves. They’ve hit the frame of the goal three times today. The latest came from Jonny Castro, who whipped an effort against the outside of the upright.
TOTTENHAM 3-1 FULHAM - KANE
77: Harry Kane scores in August! The curse is broken!
Erik Lamela strides through the middle and lays it off to Kane, who places past Fabri. Spurs wrap up maximum points.
WEST HAM 1-2 BOURNEMOUTH
78: Bournemouth are doing a professional job of seeing this out. No real threat coming from West Ham over the past 10 minutes.
TOTTENHAM 2-1 FULHAM - TRIPPIER
74: What a strike! Kieran Trippier, England hero, scores his first Spurs goal in 2.5 years!
The full-back strides up to take a 30-yard free-kick and rifles it beyond the Fulham goalkeeper. That was a thing of beauty.
TOTTENHAM 1-1 FULHAM
71: Harry Kane hates August. The England international gets a touch on Trippier's ball in and it cannons off the crossbar.
EVERTON 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON
69: Walcott goes close again! Excellent link-up play with Sigurdsson, but his shot is narrowly wide. Should have scored. Lifeline for Southampton.
LEICESTER 2-0 WOLVES - RED CARD
68: Jamie Vardy is given his marching orders for a high tackle on Matt Doherty.
WEST HAM 1-2 BOURNEMOUTH - COOK
66: All change at West Ham, all change. West Ham may have signed a plethora of players, but the defending hasn’t improved a jot.
Fraser clips a wonderful free kick in to a dangerous area, with Steve Cook stretching to nod home!
EVERTON 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON
63: Bit nervy around Goodison Park now as Southampton go searching for an equaliser. Richarlison goes down again as Southampton pick up their fifth booking of the afternoon.
WEST HAM 1-1 BOURNEMOUTH - WILSON
60: Callum Wilson has scored five goals in his five league games against West Ham against no other side has he scored more in English league football.
West Ham must be sick of the sight of him. Wilson powers past the West Ham defence and slots beyond Fabianski.
EVERTON 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON - INGS
53: Back on Merseyside, and back on the scoresheet for Danny Ings.
The Liverpool signing pulls one back after reacting quickest to slam home from close range. Game on!
TOTTENHAM 1-1 FULHAM - MITROVIC
52: Tottenham fell asleep, Fulham punish them.
The promoted side have ridden their luck but they’re level at Wembley thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic, who jumps up off the floor before nodding past Lloris.
LEICESTER 2-0 WOLVES
52: More goals in this one. These two are slugging it out like two heavyweight boxers. Traore and Bonatini, who are on for Costa and Jota, combine with Chilwell making a last-gasp block.
TOTTENHAM 1-0 FULHAM
50: Woodwork! Aleksandar Mitrovic makes some space before firing an effort against the post. Cairney slides the rebound wide.
WEST HAM 1-0 BOURNEMOUTH
47: Good chance for Brooks. He spins in the area following King's pass, but his low deflected shot is well saved! Bright start to the half for the Cherries.
BACK UNDERWAY
45: And we’re off again around the grounds. I’d take another six goals. I said that I thought all the home sides would win today, but I sense a comeback from Bournemouth could be in the pipeline. We’ll see…
HT…
HT: And that’s the break. Four games, six goals and a penalty. The Premier League is treating us this afternoon.
LEICESTER 2-0 WOLVES - MADDISON
45: James Maddison, otherwise known as Mad Dog Maddison, opens his Premier League account.
Pereira drives down the right and the ball breaks to Maddison waiting just outside the penalty area. His low strike takes a big deflection before nestling into the net.
TOTTENHAM 1-0 FULHAM - MOURA
43: Bosh! Fulham lasted as long as they possibly could but Spurs have made the breakthrough just before the break.
Fulham fail to clear a Trippier cross and the ball falls to Lucas Moura. He takes a touch before curling it into the far corner.
WEST HAM 1-0 BOURNEMOUTH
41: The Cherries are still pushing but they’ve not managed to combat this high West Ham defensive line. Manuel Pellegrini looks pleased with his said, as do the supporters. It’s all change this season, eh?
EVERTON 2-0 SOUTHAMPTON
38: Everton are more than deserving of their lead and are playing some nice stuff. It’s a long way away from the Sam Allardyce days, that’s for sure!
WEST HAM 1-0 BOURNEMOUTH
35: Marko Arnautovic has been directly involved in eight of West Ham's last 12 Premier League goals (5 goals, 3 assists).
WEST HAM 1-0 BOURNEMOUTH - ARNAUTOVIC (PEN)
33: Manuel Pellegrini’s Hammers are up and running! Nathan Ake brings Javier Hernandez down inside the penalty area and after a chat with his assistants… Stuart Atwell points to the spot.
Marko Arnautovic steps up… goal! Asmir Begovic no chance.
EVERTON 2-0 SOUTHAMPTON - RICHARLISON
31: This new Brazilian is taking Goodison Park by storm! Richarlison has his third goal in two games.
Bertrand can’t keep up with Walcott, who crosses over to Richarlison who nips ahead of Cedric to head home inside the near post.
LEICESTER 1-0 WOLVES - DOHERTY OG
30: They may have bossed things and hit the woodwork twice, but Wolves find themselves behind.
Marc Albrighton sends a signature delivery into the area. Vardy glances it before Doherty puts a bullet header past his own goalkeeper.
WEST HAM 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH
29: What a save! Fabianski has earned his transfer. Wilson spins and thrashes it towards goal but the West Ham stopper is quickly down to push it away.
EVERTON 1-0 SOUTHAMPTON
28: How on earth hasn’t Danny Ings scored?! Pickford inexplicably drops the ball straight to Ings inside the six-yard box, but somehow recovers to deny the Liverpool signing.
LEICESTER 0-0 WOLVES
25: Woodwork! The visitors his the post for the second time inside 25 minutes. Jimenez picks up a loose ball before slamming it against the frame of the goal.
WEST HAM 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH
22: Arnautovic has assumed a deeper role this afternoon with Hernandez the lone striker. The Austrian sends a cross over to Hernandez, who heads over.
LEICESTER 0-0 WOLVES
20: Wolves continue to dominate at the King Power. Claude Puel’s side just haven’t got going.
TOTTENHAM 0-0 FULHAM
18: Chance! Eriksen and Kane combine inside the penalty area before Fosu-Mensah cleans him out. Kane gets back to his feet and fires wide, but should that have been a penalty? Seen ‘em given.
EVERTON 1-0 SOUTHAMPTON - WALCOTT
15: And there’s our first Premier League goal of the afternoon! Everton have taken the lead against Southampton.
Leighton Baines plays a free-kick short to Morgan Schneiderlin, who flicks it over for Theo Walcott to poke home the opener.
14: Oh Charlie! Austin has a free-header and simply needs to divert Ward-Prowse's delivery on target but he’s sent it wide.
WEST HAM 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH
12: Pretty quiet start from Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham. Bournemouth have been pressing in the early stages but no clear-cut chances to mention.
TOTTENHAM 0-0 FULHAM
10: Disallowed goal! Moura intercepts a terrible backpass from Chambers before taking a heavy touch and over-extending to win it back. Kane pokes home the rebound but Moura is penalised for a foul.
TOTTENHAM 0-0 FULHAM
8: Nearly the breakthrough. Ben Davies gets to the byline and pulls it back for Lucas Moura, who just needs to head into an empty net. He doesn’t. It comes off the side of his head and dribbles wide.
LEICESTER 0-0 WOLVES
6: And again. Wolves are straight out the traps here. Jimenez cuts the ball out to Doherty, whose effort is blocked by Chilwell. The Foxes look sloppy.
LEICESTER 0-0 WOLVES
5: Close! The visitors nearly take the lead inside five minutes. The ball finds its way out to Moutinho, who lashes a long-range effort against the crossbar.
EVERTON 0-0 SOUTHAMPTON
3: Good atmosphere at Goodison Park. Everton are moving the ball nicely and look confident in the opening stages. Mark Hughes will hope to frustrate the hosts and hit on the counter.
WE’RE UNDERWAY…
1: Let the mayhem begin. It looks, on paper at least, that the home sides should enjoy themselves today.
I know, I know. Football isn’t played on paper…
AFTERNOON
14:55: Hello everyone, sorry that I’m late to the party. But you know what they say about better late than never…
I’ve just been covering the diabolical 0-0 between Cardiff and ten-man Newcastle down at the Cardiff City Stadium. Kenedy saw his 95th-minute penalty saved, Isaac Hayden was sent off and… that was literally it.
I have high hopes for today’s Premier League fixtures. There’s only four on offer. Slim but promising…
