F1 Constructors' Championship 2018 standings: Points after Hungarian GP – Haas move up
MERCEDES are still top of the Constructors' Championship following Lewis Hamilton's victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix, but there have been some changes further down the standings.
Lewis Hamilton cruised to a comfortable victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix ahead of Sebastian Vettel, extending his points advantage over the Ferrari ace.
Valtteri Bottas’ fourth place also means Mercedes moved further clear of the Maranello outfit in the Constructors’ Championship, holding a 10-point lead heading into the summer break.
Further down the table, Haas leapfrogged Force India into fifth after both Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean recorded points finishes in Hungary.
Fernando Alonso’s eighth place also means McLaren edge closer to the troubled team, while Pierre Gasly’s superb sixth-place finish has stretched the gap between Toro Rosso and Sauber.
