Brendon Hartley crash: WATCH moment Toro Rosso car EXPLODES in British Grand Prix practice
BRENDON HARTLEY suffered a huge front-left suspension failure which resulted in him crashing into the barriers at almost 200mph in practice three for the British Grand Prix.
Teams were putting in the final preparations for the British Grand Prix qualifying later this afternoon when Hartley was involved in a horrifying moment.
Driving down the 200mph Wellington Straight, Hartley suddenly lost all control of his car as he went hurtling into the barriers.
Upon replays it was clear the crash was through no fault of Hartley’s own.
His front left tyre suddenly exploded, leaving the New Zealander as merely a passenger.
The replays suggested a front-left tyre suspension failure with Hartley crashing into the barrier heading into Brooklands.
