Monaco Grand Prix qualifying results: Confirmed grid after penalties – Verstappen last
MAX VERSTAPPEN will start from the back of the grid for the Monaco Grand Prix after failing to set a time in qualifying, but how does the rest of the field line up?
Max Verstappen will start the Monaco Grand Prix from last place after a crash in practice saw the Dutchman fail to set a time during qualifying.
The Red Bull ace sustained damage when he hit the barriers in the swimming pool section during FP3, with his team then having to change a gearbox and incur a five-place grid penalty.
Meanwhile, team-mate Daniel Ricciardo earned pole with a superb time of 1:10.810 to fend off Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton round the streets of Monte Carlo.
Elsewhere, Romain Grosjean will serve a three-place grid drop for causing a collision at the Spanish Grand Prix but stills outqualifies the sister Haas of Kevin Magnussen after he could only manager 19th.
