Lewis Hamilton: I'm not past my 'peak age' of racing
The Mercedes man is widely regarded as one of F1’s best ever drivers and he will be looking to make his mark when the 2018 campaign resumes in Azerbaijan in 10 days.
Lewis Hamilton currently sits second to Sebastian Vettel in the World Drivers’ Championship standings and he will be eager to beat the Ferrari driver to his fifth title this season.
The 33-year-old’s racing career has so far delivered on the immense promise he showed as a youngster and he’s regarded as an inspiration to millions.
Hamilton has now offered a powerful reminder where it all started for him in a Throwback Thursday post on his official Twitter account.
"A kid with a dream," he wrote, alongside a picture of himself as a child at a black-tie event. "Never let go of your dream."
In the past Hamilton admitted he worried about not living up to the expectations placed on him.
"It feels amazing," he said amid his 2017 F1 title-winning campaign.
"The fear is to never reach your potential and to live in your potential.
"That's what l have been working towards - making sure l can open that potential and utilising it when l am on track."

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is eyeing his fourth F1 title this season
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff backed Hamilton to surpass the success of F1 greats Michael Schumacher and Juan Manuel Fangio at the time.
"Lewis is about to break all records that have been set in Formula 1, and it is just a matter of time that people will say he is on track to being the best driver that has ever existed," he said.
Hamilton will go level with Fangio on five F1 titles if he achieves World Drivers’ Championship glory this year.
Schumacher is the sport’s most-successful driver ever, having won seven titles during his own racing career.
