Lewis Hamilton: Mercedes star makes Bahrain Grand Prix revelation
LEWIS HAMILTON admits he faces an uphill struggle to win the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton makes HUGE claim about Ferarri
Hamilton will start from ninth on the grid in today’s race due to a five-place penalty over a gearbox change.
Nevertheless, the Mercedes has looked off the pace compared to the Ferrari’s.
Kimi Raikkonen had been fastest in practice prior to the qualifying but a poor final lap in Q3 allowed team-mate Sebastian Vettel to take pole position.
After losing out to Vettel in Australia two weeks ago, Hamilton hopes of a bounce-back win look slim and his post-qualifying comments were far from reassuring about his chances.

It’s going to be hard. It’s going to be one of the hardest races for some time
He said: “It’s going to be hard. It’s going to be one of the hardest races for some time. I’ll give it everything I’ve got.
“Obviously I would have preferred to start up higher but it’s not really been a great weekend.
“Trying to get ahead of the Ferrari’s has been tough. They have had the pace all weekend.”
