LEWIS HAMILTON has earned himself a break ahead of the 2018 F1 campaign.

And the Mercedes driver has revealed he’s going to spend some of it catching up on worldwide TV smash Game of Thrones.
Hamilton fought it out with Sebastian Vettel at the top of the F1 drivers’ standings over the course of this season.
And he came out on top with three races to spare, wrapping up the title after his rival faltered at the Mexican Grand Prix.
Hamilton has lots of work to do ahead of next year, with joining Juan Manuel Fangio on five World Drivers’ Championships in his sights.
I think I’m going to get into it in the winter
The 32-year-old says he’s got plenty planned for his downtime ahead of next March’s Australian Grand Prix too though.
"I’ve never seen any of Game of Thrones," said the F1 champion.
"My friends and especially my brother, are huge fans and I think I’m going to get into it in the winter.

"I go to the same place in the mountains every year.
"I have my dogs, I’m in the snow and it’s very quiet and peaceful there.
"I spend most of the day sitting by the fireplace or out skiing."
