Jenson Button left in limbo over McLaren future
JENSON BUTTON will have to wait two more weeks at least before discovering his Formula One fate.
Jenson Button will have to wait until the end of the season to discover his fate at McLaren
The Brit’s McLaren team have put off a decision until December 1 in order to focus on this weekend’s season finale in Abu Dhabi.
Button, below, and his team-mate Kevin Magnussen are in competition for the second seat in 2015 alongside new recruit Fernando Alonso.
Button, the 2009 champion, is keen to carry on in F1 and has impressed in his recent races, with fourth-place finishes in Russia and Brazil.
A McLaren statement said: “Selecting the optimal driver line-up is clearly an important process, and it is therefore one that requires precise and prolonged analysis.”
