Sebastian Vettel wins Laureus Sportsman of the Year award
SEBASTIAN VETTEL has a fight on his hands to win a fifth Formula 1 title this season but he collected another world trophy yesterday when voted the Laureus Sportsman of the Year.
Nominated five times for the award, Vettel finally joined the ranks of winners which includes Michael Schumacher, Usain Bolt and Rafael Nadal, who won Comeback of the Year.
"If I learned anything tonight it is that sport can be a huge inspiration."said Vettel as he addressed a star-studded audience which included Eric Cantona, Lewis Hamilton, MotoGP campion Marc Marquez and was hosted by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Manchester United's Champion League opponents, Bayern Munich, who have already won the Bundesliga, took Team of the Year while Missy Franklin, winner of a record six gold medals at the World Swimming Championships was Sportswoman of the Year.
