Andrew Jordan triumphs at Brands Hatch
ANDREW JORDAN held his nerve to win the British championship, which went to the final race of the season at Brands Hatch.
“I had doubts after race two when it all went wrong,” said Jordan, 24. He failed to finish the race after his Honda was clipped by former champion Matt Neal.
Jason Plato won the first two races in a dramatic rain-soaked day.
“I had to keep an eye on Jason after that and be in the top 10 but, when it came to the final race of the year, I felt calmer than I had done all weekend,” said Jordan.

He started second last in the final race, with another title contender, defending champion Gordon Shedden on pole. Jordan set the fastest lap in racing to ninth, with Plato a spot behind.
Shedden won but Jordan took the title by seven points for Pirtek Racing.
