But Hamilton faces a tall order to clinch the title with a win in Mexico as Red Bull have proven to be the team to beat so far in the practice sessions.

This time of the season sees the races get underway at later times due them being across the atlantic.
Today’s qualifying session in Mexico City will start at 7pm BST.
Mexico Grand Prix qualifying: What TV channel is it on?
Sky Sports will broadcast the qualifying session live with the pre-show action starting at 6pm.
Channel 4 have a highlights package set to be shown at 10pm.

Coverage of today's qualifying session at the Mexico Grand Prix will be shown live on Sky Sports F1 (Sky 406, Sky HD 472, Virgin 516).
The pre-race build-up starts at 6pm on Sky Sports F1 before the session officially gets underway at 7pm.
If you are not a Sky Sports customer then Channel 4 are broadcasting a full race replay later in the evening.
