Royal reception for England star as Prince Charles meets players before first Ashes Test
JIMMY ANDERSON was given a royal seal of approval in Cardiff yesterday as he warmed up to take on the Australians in the First Investec Ashes Test which starts tomorrow.

Anderson, England's record-wicket taker, chatted with Prince Charles who visited the SWALEC Stadium to meet a group of players from both squads as part of a visit to Wales with the Duchess of Cornwall.
Anderson said: "He was very much lending his support and encouragement and it was lovely to see him. He asked me about the game and our preparation, wishing us good luck."
