Six of the best for Lancashire batter Jordan Clark
LANCASHIRE’S Jordan Clark hit six sixes in an over for the club’s second XI in their friendly with Yorkshire at Scarborough yesterday – the first time an English player has achieved the feat in professional cricket.
Six sixes is a massive bonus – trying to produce a big score was my main aim. But hopefully it will turn a few heads
The 22-year-old, who has played five one-day matches for his county but is yet to make his fi rst-class debut, continuously smashed left-arm spinner Gurman Randhawa over mid-wicket.
And he hopes his achievement can help him to cement a first XI place. He said: “Six sixes is a massive bonus – trying to produce a big score was my main aim. But hopefully it will turn a few heads.”
