Australia fans ‘giving up on Ashes’ clashes with England already
AUSTRALIA have their worst batting line-up in 25 years and fans have given up on them beating England in the Ashes, according to Robert Craddock, one of Australia’s leading cricket journalists.
“Aussies have basically given up hope that they can beat England in England and are just hoping that they can run them close at home,” said Craddock, who also questioned the move to get Fawad Ahmed, the Pakistan-born spinner he describes as “a plodding cricketer”, fast-tracked into the Australian squad.
