Bell returns for England
Ian Bell was handed his first one-day international cap since November 2008 as England made two changes for the start of their NatWest Series against Bangladesh at Trent Bridge.
The same XI played all five matches in the recent 3-2 win over Australia, but with Kevin Pietersen injured and Graeme Swann rested Warwickshire batsman Bell and Kent spinner James Tredwell came into the side.
Stuart Broad was also in the side despite the death of his stepmother yesterday.
Bangladesh named Raqibul Hasan, who briefly retired during England's winter tour of the country, in place of the unwell Jahurul Islam.
Tigers skipper Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and opted to bat first in what is the first international cricket match to be broadcast in 3D.
