THE IPL is underway for its 12th season - but how can you watch the Kolkata Knight Riders in action against the Sunrisers Hyderabad?
The IPL has kicked off for its 12th season and cricket fans are already loving it as the biggest and best players in the world go toe-to-toe.
All the action is available to watch online and on TV in the UK after BT Sport announced a late deal to show every game of the competition.
What channel is Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad on?
BT Sport have a whole hosts of channels to pick from and today’s match is being shown on BT Sport 3. Coverage begins at 10.15am and runs until 2.30pm.
The game will also be available to stream online on the BT Sport website and app.
BT’s deal comes despite Sky Sports announcing a multi-year deal to show the IPL last year.
That’s because host broadcasters Star India have exercised their option to retain the rights for the competition, but BT Sport still gained the rights late on.
Sky posted on Twitter: “We negotiated 60 matches last year, in what was to be a multi-year deal, although nowhere did it say multiple consecutive years. This year, Star India have chosen to retain full coverage.”
It means Sky miss out on showcasing some of the best talents in world cricket, during a World Cup year.
