SUNIL NARINE is gearing up for IPL action with the Kolkata Knight Riders but how much is the cricket star paid?
KKR star Sunil Narine makes his return to competitive cricket after missing the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
A hand injury meant he couldn’t take part but the West Indian is looking forward to another classic IPL contest.
He said: "It's good to be back. This is my second home.
"Hopefully good things lie ahead and a bright IPL season too."
The 30-year has been an key player for Knight Riders over the years and is expected to deliver big performances again this year.
KKR's spin-bowling coach Carl Crowe said of the star: "He (Narine) is in good shape.
"His performance has always be been of high quality. Batting is now part of his game as well.
"He could have rushed back (for the PSL) but that's never a good idea.
"Credit should go to him for being able to maintain a high standard after modifying his action.
"The mind is equally important in such comebacks. To understand the new action and start all over again is not easy."

Narine will earn a salary of ₹ 125,000,000 for IPL 2019, which equates to £1.37million.
The star has been playing with KKR since his debut year in the Indian Premier League.
He is a mystery off-spinner bowler and an aggressive left-handed batsman.
Narine has an overall estimated net worth of $8m (£6m).
