Mohammed Hafeez reveals what he thinks of Lahore Qalandars new signings in PSL draft
LAHORE QALANDARS captain Mohammad Hafeez has revealed what he thinks of his side’s squad ahead of the start of the Pakistan Super League.
Lahore Qalandars kick off the PSL on Thursday when they face Islamabad United in Dubai.
The Qalandars have struggled in the previous three editions of the tournament, finishing bottom on each occasion.

However, a new-look squad will be looking to put an end to their miserable history in the competition.
The most notable new arrival is that of legendary South Africa wicket-keeper batsman AB De Villiers.

De Villiers will earn around Rs 1.5 crore for his time at the PSL, which is around £170,000.
West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite and New Zealand’s big-hitting Corey Anderson will also bolster the Qalandars’ chances.
Pakistan veteran Hafeez has switched from Peshawar Zalmi to join up with international team-mates Fakhar Zaman and Yasir Shah.
And Hafeez likes the look of how his team are shaping up ahead of the start against Islamabad.
“Our team combination is very good,” he told Geo News.
“The think tank of Lahore Qalandars have done a good job in picking players.
“I’m sure all the players will give their best and deliver according to expectations and provide Qalandars fans something to cheer about, something they have been missing.
“As a player, I will try to give my maximum and make every effort to make the team victorious.”
Eight matches have been scheduled on Pakistan soil for the tournament.
And Hafeez is excited to have the chance of playing in front of his own fans.
“Playing PSL in Pakistan is something we all have been waiting for,” he added.
“Really looking forward to our two games in Lahore and then the next stage in Karachi.”
