Whyte vs Parker: New Zealander reveals plan one hour before fight
JOSEPH PARKER has revealed his plan to combat Dillian Whyte this evening.
Parker arrived at London’s O2 Arena long before his opponent and he appeared as calm as ever as he was interviewed in his dressing room.
The New Zealander is hoping to regain the world title which he lost to Anthony Joshua in March.
The winner of Whyte vs Parker will likely get another shot at the unified world champion later down the line.
And Parker is keen to make sure he is the one who gets a chance to avenge his most recent loss.
But first he must get past a difficult opponent in Whyte, who similarly has only ever lost once in his professional career.
“I am feeling good,” Parker told Sky Sports.
“We had a nice relaxing day today and I got an important nap in again.
“I am ready to go.
"I said that I will come out and be dominant and put on a good performance and that is what I will do.
“I think is going to bring out the best in my. He is a tough challenge.
“He is a great fighter I will have to break him down.
“I am hungry, motivated and desperate. My whole team is driven to this goal and we are doing everything we can to achieve it.
“There will be no regrets and we are leaving everything in there.”
Whyte and Parker are expected to pocket over £1million from this evening’s showdown, which is live on Sky Sports Box Office.
