A boxing match between the two legendary fighters looks increasingly likely with Floyd Mayweather confirming earlier this month that he is "out of retirement" for the bout.
Conor McGregor meanwhile has been taking an extended break from MMA since November ahead of the birth of his first child.
And while the Irishman has not refrained from talking up Mayweather, White appears to hold all the cards on any potential fight between the two because of his UFC contract with McGregor.

By contrast, Mayweather is unbeaten in 49 professional boxing contests and only three of his last 15 wins have come by KO or TKO.
The 40-year-old is known for his forensic fighting style and ability to out-think his opponent.
And while no-one has beaten him yet, White does not believe the result of a Mayweather v McGregor bout is a forgone conclusion.

"Hey, the great thing about fights is you never know who’s going to win,” White added.

"It’s the crazy thing about the fight business.
"I mean if it was guaranteed that Floyd was going to win this fight, why would you pay for it?
“There’s no guarantees."
