Mike Tyson's 'aura' backed to overwhelm Jake Paul in controversial fight
Jake Paul is set to face Mike Tyson - and the boxing legend has been backed to beat the YouTuber before they even step into the ring

Jake Paul has been cautioned that the mere presence of Mike Tyson could be enough to defeat him before they even step into the ring. The two are set to finally touch gloves on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.
The original fight was scheduled earlier this year, but 'Iron Mike' had to withdraw due to an ulcer flare-up in July. Despite concerns about his health, the 58-year-old boxing veteran insists he will be ready for the bout next month.
Tyson's last professional match was back in 2005 when he lost to Kevin McBride in the fifth round. However, he did face Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition match four years ago.

On the other hand, 'The Problem Child', as Paul is known, has been quite active since his debut in 2020. He has already claimed victories over Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz in his brief career. He enters the fight with 'Iron Mike' fresh from a win over former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July.
In his prime, Tyson was renowned for his knockout power and trash-talking skills, often defeating opponents before they even entered the ring. As one of the greatest heavyweights in boxing history, many believe the 58-year-old can overcome Paul.

In an interview with World Boxing News, featherweight Bruce Carrington shared his insights on why boxing veteran Mike Tyson could surprise everyone in the upcoming showdown. "Listen, man. You can never knock that Mike Tyson power," he stated.
The 27-year-old boxer highlighted Tyson's unique approach due to his extensive experience at the top level. Carrington also pointed out Tyson's intimidating presence as a significant factor in the fight. "His aura alone can make you lose a fight before you step in a ring," he said. "Yeah, so Tyson says, every fight, that he’s scared, or afraid - whatever.
"Don’t let that fool you because people who fight scared are sometimes the most dangerous fighters. They’re, like, hyper-attentive because their heart rate is so fast. They’re scared, but that makes them super focused. And those are sometimes the most dangerous fighters to fight."
He added: "His age is definitely a factor, don’t get me wrong. He’s been away from the ring for some time while Jake Paul has been super active... But Mike Tyson is Mike Tyson. You can’t count him out."
With the bout just around the corner, some fans are sceptical about 'Iron Mike' taking his upcoming fight seriously. In a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, the boxing icon claimed he's putting in a gruelling six hours of training each day. "I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm," he disclosed.
