Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury was seen being escorted out of a pub by security before falling over on the pavement outside. Fury was at the Nowhere bar in Morecambe on Friday night, but had clearly had too much to drink as he was dragged out by security before stumbling on all fours after leaving the establishment.

The six-foot-nine boxer was out at his local on Friday, three weeks after suffering the first loss of his career to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.

In footage obtained by The Sun, Fury can be seen falling over initially, and then hitting the deck again when attempting to stand back up. Fury even hit his head on a nearby post while losing his footing, although a source close to the fighter doesn't believe it was solely down to alcohol.

A source told The Sun that due to training and competing, Fury had not drunk an alcoholic beverage for over a year. "He had a couple too many and wasn’t feeling too well either," they added.

Fury has been in fight mode for almost a year, training to face former UFC star Francis Ngannou before turning his attention to Usyk. His fight with Usyk was delayed twice, but on May 18 they finally put their undefeated records on the line.

Usyk was victorious and Fury is now 34-1-1 in his career, although a rematch clause means he can seek revenge with a win later this year. For now it appears that Fury is enjoying himself, although in video footage and photos captured of his bar removal, he may live to regret it.

On his Netflix show At Home With The Fury's, the boxer admitted that it only takes a few pints to get drunk once he hasn't touched alcohol for an extended period of time. "Two, three pints I’m gone, especially beer. Senseless, speechless drunk. Especially if you don’t drink all of the time," he said before facing Ngannou last year.

It's not the first time that Fury has been filmed when overly intoxicated, but the heavyweight gained a lot of respect when opening up about his previous struggles. When Fury initially retired from boxing his father, John, admitted that his son went into a dark place.

Tyson has since backed up those claims, stressing he lost his sense of purpose. "Last time that Tyson retired a lot went on, he went 10 stone over his body weight. Drinking non-stop, eating rubbish," John said.

"If I think Tyson or any of my sons are doing something that’s detrimental to themselves, I’ll be the first to say it straight." Fury's comeback story is inspiring, and if he can become the first man to defeat Usyk when the two heavyweight's meet again it'll be a major achievement.
