In a break from fellow fighters and fans slamming the YouTuber, Floyd Mayweather has commended Jake Paul for his upcoming controversial bout with Mike Tyson. The heavyweight legend, Tyson, is set to face the influencer-turned-boxer Paul on July 20 at the massive Dallas Cowboys stadium in Texas.

Tyson hasn't stepped into a professional ring since his retirement during a match against Kevin McBride in 2005. On the other hand, Paul has managed to compile a professional record of 9-1 since he took up boxing four years ago.

Despite their rocky relationship and numerous clashes over the past few years, Mayweather believes that Paul's fight against Tyson is a smart business move. "What he's doing is kinda cool. If he can continue to steal money and they match him the way they match him, I can't knock his hustle," Mayweather expressed to Treasure Hustle. "If they can match him the way that they have been, more power to him."

Many have expressed health fears over Tyson's fight and that came to a head earlier this week. Tyson experienced a health scare while on a flight due to an ulcer flare-up causing dizziness and nausea. However, the former heavyweight champion has reassured fans that he is well and the fight against Paul will proceed as planned.

The Tyson-Paul match will consist of eight, two-minute rounds, with both fighters wearing 14oz gloves. Tyson's last fight was four years ago when he went eight rounds with fellow boxing icon Roy Jones Jr in an un-scored exhibition match, an event where Paul also participated, knocking out NBA star Nate Robinson.

'Iron Mike' Tyson has been warned of the dangers he faces in his upcoming bout, with Nathan Howarth from the Concussion Legacy Foundation UK highlighting the risks: "Boxing has an inherent risk of concussion, there's an increased risk of traumatic brain injury we have seen like bleeds on the brain," as reported by Betway.

Howarth continued, cautioning about the specific risks to veteran fighters: "I'm not saying there is any evidence that as an older fighter, Mike would be at risk of that, however, we do know the impacts of subclinical concussions. It's particularly important for someone like Mike Tyson who has had a long period of time in the sport anyway."
