Eddie Hearn takes aim at Deontay Wilder
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has hit out at WBC champion Deontay Wilder for mocking ‘AJ’ immediately after his loss to Ruiz.
Moments after the Olympian lost his titles, Wilder tweeted: "He wasn’t a true champion.
"His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts. Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!! #TilThisDay"
Hearn wasn’t impressed by the tweet, saying: ”I’m sure there will be lots of people who are delighted AJ lost tonight.
“Deontay Wilder has zero class for kicking Joshua while he is down."
He later said: "Some people will be over the moon. Some people will be disappointed.
"It's the end, for now, of a huge fight. “His career isn’t over. But he’s got to win the rematch.
