Anthony Joshua: I've got to win to go down in history
Anthony Joshua receives Andy Ruiz warning
Former heavyweight champion David Haye has urged Anthony Joshua not to underestimate Andy Ruiz this weekend in his American debut.
"If you didn't know he was a boxer, you could go into any pub and drag a random man out and he would be in better physical condition appearance-wise than Andy Ruiz,” Haye told the Daily Mirror.
"On paper, and in reality, it could be a decent match-up but when you look at a prime athlete standing next to someone who looks like they don’t take their health and fitness seriously, it puts a dampener on the fight.
"I'm fully aware that everyone has a different body shape but there’s body fat and there's body fat. But he only had six weeks' notice, and ideally for a fight against Joshua you need 12-15 weeks of serious, hardcore preparation.
"He took the opportunity to earn money he will never earn again to fight the best heavyweight on the planet, but believe it or not he is much better than people give him credit for.
"His appearance might actually give him an advantage because people think he’s fat but he turns up and can punch for 12 rounds and grind people down.
"Hopefully Joshua doesn’t look at him and think it'll be an easy night’s work. As long as Joshua has trained as if he is fighting Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder then he will win the fight pretty easily.”

Tyson Fury takes aim at Anthony Joshua
Lineal heavyweight king Tyson Fury has launched yet another blistering attack on Joshua, who he’s branded a ‘p***y s***house’.
“Punch his face in, he’s a big, bum dosser,” the Gypsy King said when asked how he'd beat 'AJ'. “Joshua is not a great fighter. He’s just a mediocre, average heavyweight from the ‘70s.
“And, if he was in the ‘70s, he wouldn’t even be a world champion. You need nuts to fight me and nuts he doesn’t have. Cojones, b****cks, testicles, whatever you wanna call them. Joshua don’t have any.
Tyson Fury WANTS to fight Dillian Whyte says Eddie Hearn
“[Promoter] Eddie Hearn owns Joshua’s nuts, they’re in his handbag. So when he becomes a man, he can come see me. It’s unfortunate, but it’s reality. Joshua’s a big p***y s***house.”
Dillian Whyte slams Deontay Wilder
WBC mandatory title challenger Dillian Whyte has slammed champion Deontay Wilder for ducking him yet again.
“Deontay Wilder has ducked once again,” ‘The Body Snatcher’ wrote in his talkSPORT column. “If people don’t believe he’s running from the big fights by now, then I don’t know what to tell them.
"He’s fighting Luis Ortiz again because he’s a s***house. It’s the easiest of fights for him.
“Ortiz is a fake bogeyman. His best win by far was over Bryant Jennings who has been knocked out by my next opponent, the unbeaten Oscar Rivas. There’s this myth that the ancient Ortiz is avoided but the reality is that he has turned down multiple offers to fight me.
“I even have some sympathy for Anthony Joshua as Ortiz turns down fights and then waits until the opponent has another fight arranged before claiming that they are avoiding him.
“He rejected over $7million (£5.5million) to face AJ this coming Saturday. I guarantee he’s getting a lot less than that for the Wilder rematch. It makes no sense.”
