TYSON FURY is more likely to try and challenge Anthony Joshua rather than re-negotiate a rematch with Deontay Wilder.

That is the bold claim of Fury’s father, John, who was immensely proud of his son’s display in Los Angeles last weekend.
Although Fury was floored twice in the contest, once in the ninth round and once in the 12th round, the Manchester-born fighter pulled himself off the canvas and clung onto claim a draw even though there was controversy surrounding scoring by one of the judges.
While Wilder is still the holder of the WBC heavyweight belt, Fury’s father thinks a Joshua showdown is more likely now.
“My gut instinct says they are going to go down the Joshua route,” Fury’s dad said.

Fury’s father reckons his son has helped raise Wilder’s status in the game.
“With Wilder, nobody really knew who he was in his own country," he said.

“Now he’s worth more money and his stock has grown because of Fury.
“I knew what they were doing.
“If he’d listened to me, he wouldn’t be in America.
“He would have had three or four more contests to get his body right and he wouldn’t have needed the judges.”
