AMIR KHAN was forced to remove his pants and socks to make the weight limit ahead of his fight with Samuel Vargas in Birmingham on Saturday.

Khan, 31, was a couple of pounds too heavy on his first attempt at making the 10st 7lb welterweight limit.
Even when the British fighter removed his socks, it still wasn’t enough to make the weight.
Khan, with the aid of a security guard's jacket to protect his modesty, then removed his underwear to make the 147lbs weight at his third attempt.
"Everything had to come off today and that's the first time that has happened,” said Khan.

“We made the weight so I'm glad. I'm now going to hydrate myself, eat well and be ready for tomorrow night.
"I feel good, this is my natural weight and where I feel strongest.
"You see the speed, power and explosive at this weight. I have a 100 per cent record in this division.”
Khan said he was prepared ahead of the weekend’s clash and the British fighter revealed he has his eyes set on becoming world champion again.
"Vargas seems ready and made the weight well, but I'm more than ready,” Kahn said to Sky Sports.
“It is a test, most of these guys give it their all and he's had enough time to train.
"I'm very chilled, I've had a lot of fights. I'm only 31-years old and this is just another day at the office.
“I'm very experienced at this level. The best is still ahead of me, I want to be world champion again."
Khan’s promoter Eddie Hearn claims the former light-welterweight world champion will have his pick of big fights after his clash with Vargas.

Khan, who has not held a world title since 2012, is excited about what could happen after the Vargas fight but stipulated that any future bout will be at welterweight.
“The next fight has to be big,” Khan said.
“I’d like the next one to be in London. If it’s Kell Brook or Manny Pacquiao, they all know I’m a 147lbs fighter and fair play to Kell Brook, he has said he will fight me at 147.
“I want to stay at 147 because going up and down in weights is not for me.
“I’m better at my more natural weight.”
