EastEnders spoilers: Stuart Highway EXPOSED as Jay Brown rescues Whitney
EASTENDERS continued tonight on BBC One with Stuart Highway finally exposed to his brother Halfway Highway after he tried to tear down Whitney Carter.
EastEnders: Jay exposes Stuart after bumping into Callum
EastEnders fans were fearing the worst for Whitney (played by Shona McGarty) after she confronted Stuart (Ricky Champ) in last night’s episode over his past abuse of Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White).
While there, Whitney got straight to the point and spoke her mind.
She said to Stuart: “I asked you here to say one thing. I’m on to you. I see who you really are.”
As she snapped at Stuart, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) saw the dangerous character lean in to try and touch Whiney as she shoved him away.
Later in the episode, Stuart went to speak to his brother Halfway and lied that Whitney had cheated on him.
If anything, she seemed to be giving him a bit of grief. Then she just left
Stuart said: “I’ve been weighing up whether or not to tell you this, but you deserve to know the truth.”
After cutting to another scene, the programme returned to show Halfway gasp: “And you’re sure?”
Stuart whimpered: “She tried to kiss me, bruv. Her hands were all over me!”
In tonight’s continuation, Halfway confronted Whitney and the pair seemed to split.
However, it was Jay’s alibi that seemed to expose Stuart to his own brother.
Ordering drinks at the E20 bar, Highway asked: “My brother was in last night, weren’t he?”
Jay then said: “Yeah, he was. Yeah, I saw him. How come?”
Highway nervously asked: “And she didn’t try and kiss him?”
Shocked, Jay replied: “Why would she do that?”
As Stuart waited for drinks to be brought over, Highway hurried: “Just please tell me mate!”
Jay confessed: “Nah mate. If anything, she seemed to be giving him a bit of grief. Then she just left.”
While this may have been an eyeopener for Highway, it is too little too late for his relationship with Whitney.
Confiding in Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith), Whitney said: “You don’t get it Tiff.
“I don’t want him back. Not anymore.”
EastEnders continues this Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm.
