Britain’s Got Talent 2018: Amanda Holden slammed by viewers over Sascha Williams gaffe
BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT judge Amanda Holden was slammed by viewers during last night's live semi-final after she reviewed Sascha Williams’ performance.
Britain's Got Talent: Simon mocks Olena's performance
Sascha took to the Britain’s Got Talent stage this evening to give another gripping performance.
Viewers watched the circus performer as he played the guitar while he balanced on a stack of crates.
If that wasn’t enough, the crates he was standing on were on fire.
Those tuning into the ITV talent show were no doubt left on the edge of their seats.
Judge Alesha Dixon praised Sascha but claimed that music in the background had given her a headache.
However her fellow judge Amanda Holden disagreed with Alesha.
She said she liked the AC/DC music in the background and often ran to “thrash music”.
Her comment left many music fans in uproar, with some insisting Amanda should “go back to music school”.
One viewer shared: “No Amanda AC/DC isn’t thrash #BGT.”
“Since when is AC/DC thrash? #BGT,” another asked.
A third continued: “Amanda Holden just called Marilyn Manson ‘thrash metal’... #BGT”
Someone else wrote: “Thrash is not AC/DC and Marilyn Manson #AmandaHolden. Go back to music school.
“You saw the most ridiculous s**t #bgt.”
It came just moments before Amanda stormed off stage after she was sprayed with water by Marty Putz.
During the act’s performance, he sprayed liquid at the judges panel followed by toilet roll.
Amanda appeared furious as she stood up and walked off stage.
Both she and Alesha could be seen walking into the audience before Marty’s performance had ended.
Amanda later walked on stage and threw a bottle of water over the performer.
She noted: “I’m going to send the dry cleaning bill.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues Friday on ITV at 7.30pm.
