THE CHASE viewers saw a blistering team of two destroy the chaser this evening, as they set a monstrous target in the final chase which Mark Labbett could not beat.
The Chase: Bradley Walsh questions chaser Jenny's knowledge
The Chase viewers had a belting episode this evening with host Bradley Walsh elated over his team’s win.
Bryony and John battled their way through to the final chase, as they stormed through their head-to-head rounds with ease.
Meanwhile their two team mates were caught out during their head-to-head rounds, leaving the newly formed dynamic duo to take on The Beast.
But The Beast was not up to his usual standards, today.
As Bryony and John mounted up their steps in the final chase round, fans quickly became hopeful that the team may be on track to victory.
The Chase: Bradley Walsh became concerned over Mark's announcement
Entering the game to take on the twenty steps built up, Mark commented: “Okay, I might have to warm up fourth and fifth gear. Well played.”
Although the chaser started strong, he soon faltered as he began getting questions wrong.
With the team scoring some push backs, Mark was left with three questions to answer, and no time left.
Bradley commented on his performance after the game: “Bad luck, by the way - I thought you played really well.”
Exasperated with his performance, Mark groaned: “I was just too slow.

If I don’t start playing faster I’m going to have to retire because that was way too slow
“I’m getting old. I’m getting worried - I’m serious!

Shocked by this revelation, Bradley look at the camera to comment.
He announced: “You heard it here first: The Beast is getting worried.”
“He’s getting older. He may have to retire.
“Come and have a go, you might just have time left.”
The Chase: Bradley sent a warning out to contestants - Mark may retire
One fan even commented: “Noo @MarkLabbett don't ever retire - we need you as a chaser #TheChase.”
Yesterday’s show saw Bradley snap over a secret revealed by Jenny Ryan.
After missing a section of one of the questions Bradley quipped: “Would it not be prudent, being the chaser, to understand the question? Do you not think that’s a good idea?”
Jenny replied: “I can’t understand everything Brad!”
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
