EMMERDALE has hinted that Debbie Dingle and Ross Barton could reunite after they shared a tender moment in last night’s episode and fans are from impressed.

In the latest instalment of the ITV soap, Debbie (played by Charley Webb) came very close to revealing she ordered Ross’ (Michael Parr) acid attack but was stopped at the last minute.
The former Emmerdale couple shared an intimate moment when the mechanic confessed she just wanted Ross to be okay and reached out to stoke his cheek.
The moment was interrupted by Joseph Tate (Ned Porteous) who ran past the pair and left Debbie distracted causing Ross to storm off in a rage.
Following the episode, the official Twitter account for Emmerdale shared a cosy snap of the couple.
They captioned the shot: “Are Debbie and Ross still in love with one another? #Emmerdale.”
The soap’s 1.25 million followers were quick to comment on the photo and express their outrage over the potential twist.
Fans instead that Ross should reunite with his ex due to her involvement in his horrific attack.
“Debbie is VERY Last person Ross should be around!! He needs to know the truth!!” one viewer raged.

It comes as it was revealed that Ross is set for a painful addiction storyline.

With just his prescription pills to try and numb the pain from his acid attack, Ross has turned to use alcohol to self-medicate.
Furthermore, in Monday night’s episode, Ross was visibly alarmed when the doctor suggested lowering his prescription.
He insisted that his pain level was still at an “eight or nine”, which left the physician concerned.
Will Ross become addicted to painkillers as he continues to struggle with the aftermath of his attack.
