Al Murray STORMS OFF live on Sunday Brunch
The 49-year-old comedian appeared on the popular Channel 4 cooking show to join Tim, 49, and former Strictly Come Dancing star Simon Rimmer, 54, to cook up a festive hasselback butternut squash.
However, Simon and Al locked horns over the correct method to barbecue turkey for Christmas dinner.
After the chef revealed that he planned to use the non-traditional method to make his meal special this year, Al replied: “Yeah, you’ve got to brine it - obviously you’ve got to brine it first.”
“See, I’m not going to brine,” Simon replied, to a universal gasp from Tim and the other guests.

Al feigned fury over Simon's turkey cooking methods
“I’m going to put a load of butter under the skin so you’ve got plenty of moisture there,” he explained, as Al shot the camera a stunned glance. “And then bake it on top.
“You don’t need to brine it,” Simon insisted.
“You don’t need to brine it?!” the funny man exclaimed in mock rage, throwing the spoon he was holding down on the countertop. “Right that’s it, I’m off.”
Making to storm off the set he joked: “I don’t come here to be insulted.”

Simon suggested that he and AL compare pictures of the Christmas turkeys on the day
He quickly returned, however, as Simon suggested that the pair exchange pictures of their respective barbecued turkeys come Christmas.
“You show me yours and I’ll show you mine,” Al quipped.
“Fine,” the presenter said. “We’ll have a turkey-off on Christmas Day.”
Sunday Brunch continues next Sunday at 9.40am on Channel 4.
