Casualty tease one shot special episode of BBC drama
The hospital series will not air this evening due to the Strictly Come Dancing final which dominates BBC One’s schedule.
The grand finale of the dancing competition will take place over two and a half hours as the live show and results are combined.
After each of the four finalists have performed their three dances, the winner will be announced before 9pm.
The extended edition of Strictly Come Dancing means that Casualty has been pushed back one week.

The next instalment will see Connie Beauchamp (played by Amanda Mealing) struggle through a festive shift at the hospital despite undergoing chemotherapy.
It will also see the return of guest star Pam St Clement who takes on the role of Sally Hodge.
Meanwhile, ahead of tonight’s Strictly final Joe McFadden is favourite to lift the coveted Glitterball trophy.

The former Holby City star’s odds to be crowned this year’s winner are slated at 4/5, closely followed by Debbie McGee at 9/4.
Speaking ahead of the final, Jessica Bridges of Ladbrokes said: “Joe might be the odds-on favourite, but this year’s final is the most wide open we’ve ever seen, any one of the four celebs could land this year’s Glitterball trophy.”
The Strictly Come Dancing Final airs tonight on BBC One at 6.30pm.
