THE APPRENTICE is back with a whole new batch of candidates ready to get stuck in and win over Lord Alan Sugar to become his new business partner.

Over several weeks, 18 hopefuls will be seen battling it out on BBC One in the hope of securing a £250,000 business investment.
Lord Sugar, 70, will once again be joined by his trusty aides Karen Brady and Claude Littner as they watch over the ambitious contestants for the 13th series.
This year’s recruits include a wedding company owner, a florist chain entrepreneur and a confectionary company boss.

James White
James, 26, lives in Birmingham and is an IT recruitment firm owner.
He is determined to outshine everyone on the show as he began the fighting talk amongst the candidates and said: “Intimidation motivates me. I want to be bigger and more successful than anyone else.”
The Apprentice 2017: Ross Fretten
Ross Fretten
Ross is 29-years-old and is a digital product consultant from Essex.
The confident candidate said: “I’m usually the smartest person in any room and I’ll make sure people know that.”

Jeff Wan
Jeff Wan, 28, from London is a business analyst and will get in anyone’s way to ensure success.
“I’m going to throw people under the bus and I’m going to get on the bus, take the wheel and get that investment,” he said.
The Apprentice 2017: Andrew Brady
Andrew Brady
Andrew from Cheshire is 26-years-old and is a project engineer.
He has potential to be a good project leader as he revealed: “I don’t blow smoke up someone’s behind. If someone deserves credit, I will give them it.”

Jade English
Jade, 25, is a PR and marketing manager from Manchester.
Describing herself, she said: “I’m a brilliant negotiator and not all talk – I put every weird idea into action and get results.”
The Apprentice 2017: Sarah Lynn
Sarah Lynn
Sarah Lynn, 35, is a confectionery company owner from London.
“Women are like tea bags – you don’t know how strong they are until you put them in hot water,” she said.
The Apprentice 2017: Bushra Shaikh
Bushra Shaikh
Bushra, 34, is from Surrey and owns a clothing company.
The business owner revealed she won’t be taken for granted: “I’ve been raised not to be a pushover – in the words of Destiny’s Child, I’m an independent woman.”
The Apprentice 2017: Charles Burns
Charles Burns
Charles is a 24-year-old management consultant from Manchester who will attempt to turn every opportunity into a thriving success.
“When life throws you lemons, make and sell lemonade for a healthy profit,” he said.
The Apprentice 20167: Sarah-Jayne Clark
Sarah-Jayne Clark
Sarah-Jayne is a 25-year-old clothing company owner from Derbyshire and is sure to ruffle some feathers.
“I am the definition of a girl boss – I get things done,” she stated.
The Apprentice 2017: Michaela Wain
Michaela Wain
Michaela, 33, is from Bolton and she’s a construction business owner.
Her fellow contestants won’t want to get on the wrong side of her, as she admitted: “In business I am like a bulldog. If you mess with me I have lockjaw.”
The Apprentice 2017: Elizabeth McKenna
Elizabeth McKenna
Elizabeth, 39, is a florist chain owner from Nottinghamshire.
“My big feet are good for two things – getting me into trouble and kicking butt," she explained.

Siobhan Smith
Siobhan is a 34-year-old wedding company owner from London.
“I fly aeroplanes and scuba dive and I’m a blogger and a mother. A lot of people call me superwoman,” boasted the talented contestant.

Anisa Topan
Anisa, 36, a PR fashion agency owner from Surrey is definitely confident of her abilities.
“I’ve got everything Lord Sugar needs. I’m passionate, dynamic and persistent – he’ll love that," she gloated.
The Apprentice 2017: Joanne Jarjue
Joanne Jarjue
Joanne, 23, from Manchester is a digital marketing manager.
The Mancunian certainly doesn’t appear to be the type of person to back down, as she claimed: “Don’t wake a sleeping lion. If you underestimate me I might just bite.”
The Apprentice 2017: Elliot Van Emden
Elliot Van Emden
Elliot is a 31-year-old legal firm owner from London.
He certainly won't let anything get in his way, as he stated: “Sometimes to get to the top, you have to grease the pole behind you.”
The Apprentice 2017: Sajan Shah
Sajan Shah
Sajan is a 24-year-old event company owner from London.
Speaking about his abilities, he declared: “I am like a Chinese dish – potent, deliciously driven, full of flavour and I sure do sizzle.”
The Apprentice 2017: Danny Grant
Danny Grant
Danny from Kent is a 32-year-old online retail store owner.
But this contestant might not make any friends out of his fellow candidates as he admitted: “I don’t get on with people with a stick up their a***.”
The Apprentice 2017: Harrison Jones
Harrison Jones
Harrison, 27, is a sales executive from Watford.
The hard-worker said: "I am always willing to work to full capacity to achieve my goals."
The Apprentice season 13 premieres October 4 at 9pm on BBC One.
