The soon-to-be adopted daughter of Billy Mayhew (played by Daniel Brocklebank) and Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) will be dared to smoke something suspicious in new scenes.
According to reports, Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) will find a cigarette on the street and will put pressure on the youngster to smoke it.
Unbeknownst to the pair, it turns out to be the ‘zombie’ drug Spice and Summer (Matilda Freeman) will collapse just moments after inhaling it.
Simon is set to panic when he sees Summer fall unconscious, resulting in a dramatic showdown as Billy confronts Simon’s dad Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and punches him.

However, the turn of events leads to Billy getting arrested which puts the adoption process in jeopardy.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday: ”The Spice incident with Summer is only the half of it.
"There's also the matter of Simon giving her the drug, so there are going to be huge repercussions for the Barlow family too.
"As they are coming to terms with what's happened Billy is arrested and it will jeopardise their adoption plans.

It comes after it was also reported Coronation Street bosses will be tackling a hard-hitting HIV storyline as troubled teenager Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) will be diagnosed with the virus.
