In tomorrow night’s episode of the BBC soap, the power-hungry Chairman of Weyland and Co. (played by William Boyde) starts to begin his ruthless takeover of the East London suburb.
He will be looking over a map of Walford as he plans to make his next move while discussing his schemes with his brother-in-law Hugo (Simon Williams).
James made his shock return to EastEnders earlier this week when Max Branning (Jake Wood) finally encountered his elusive boss for the first time, despite working for him for some time now.
Max was taking his old cellmate and Fi’s sibling Luke (Adam Astill) home to his family following his release from prison when he met the shadowy corporate figure.
In a tense scene, Max was finally introduced to James by his girlfriend Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) in a surprise encounter as Hugo and Fi’s half-brother Josh Hemmings (Eddie Eyre).
Businessman James arrived back in Albert Square as he and his family began their big takeover in an explosive pollen billed as “a story of power, control, money and revenge”.

James, who was also wrongly imprisoned, is seeking to take revenge on those who sent him down, particularly Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) who he is convinced ruined his life.
His family will stop at nothing to take control and crush anyone who crosses them. However, each member has their own agenda, which could threaten to derail the whole operation.
It is not clear how much each of the family actually knows about the scheme but it could be the most dramatic story ever to rock the Square.

Actor William last appeared in EastEnders in 1986 before departing two years later when his character was sentences to three years in prison for the rape of Kathy.
After making a brief return, James fled in the wake of an angry reception from Walford residents.

EastEnders continues on BBC One tomorrow at 8pm.
