The Chase host Bradley Walsh STUNNED as team miss out on £61,000 prize after THIS
BRADLEY WALSH was left less than impressed by one contestant on this evening’s instalment of The Chase after they made a very bad choice, resulting in the team missing out on a whopping £61,000.

Player Pete was given the option of either sticking with his £5,000 he’d made from his cash builder round or going high with an impressive £66,000 after Chaser Mark Labbett presented him with several choices.
The biology teacher, who confessed that he’d been a betting man when the occasion called for it, decided to play it safe and stick with what he’d earned rather than taking a step closer to the British quiz brain, 52.
However, it turned out to be the wrong decision after Pete made it safely through the head-to-head round with The Beast and even had several chances at the big money - if he had been brave enough to take the higher offer in the first place.
Although Pete was clearly relieved to have made it through to the final, the 57-year-old presenter of The Chase was left stunned that the contestant had essentially lost the huge jackpot.
Bradley quipped to Pete: “Well, five grand added to 25k. Pete, you’ve played really, really well. You’re through to the final. Let’s not talk about the 86 grand, no one mention it.”
His joke made the studio audience laugh but Pete could only be heard uttering in dismay: “Oh no.”

The ITV presenter continued: “Don’t worry about it. Just sit down, I won’t mention it 86 grand anymore.”
Instead, Bradley took a different tact as he carried on ribbing the player: “So, £25,000, there you go. What about that! Extraordinary. I’m £61,000 adrift there. I didn’t mention the other figure, I’m just telling you £61,000 adrift.”
The Beast tried to add to his commiseration and look on the bright side, as he explained: “Well, look at the positives, for a pair to win they’ve got everything going for them. Different skill sets, different background.”
