After Ed Sheeran made an appearance in episode one of season seven, it was about time another famous face popped up.
And in the latest instalment of the HBO hit series, New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard was spotted as part of the Lannister army.
The baseball star was dressed head to toe in armour and was seen hurling a spear at one of the Dothrakis who hurtled towards him on a horse.
But unlike singing sensation Ed, the 24-year-old sportsman didn’t last long as his character met a grisly end after being roasted alive by Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) dragon Drogon.

Commenting on his brief appearance, Noah wrote on Twitter: “Take that you mean Dothraki #shottotheheart #andyouretoblame.
“To my side's defence....they had a FRICKEN DRAGON!!! At least I didn't throw behind him.”
Game of Thrones viewers flocked to Twitter to point out the celebrity cameo but Noah, nicknamed Thor, got roasted by New York Mets fans.
The All-Star has been injured since April and his team are currently taking a beating like the Lannisters did in the dramatic episode.

Fans thought Noah Syndergaard's spear action caused his injury
One person wrote on social media: “So Noah Syndergaard had a cameo appearance on #GameOfThrones As usual, he was on the losing side.”
“Noah Syndergaard being torched in #GameOfThrones pretty much sums up the @Mets season this year,” quipped another.
A third joked: "#Mets doctors now say Noah Syndergaard's injury this season was from repeatedly throwing a spear during #GameofThrones rehearsals."
Game of Thrones continues on HBO this Sunday in the US and will be simulcast on Sky Atlantic on Monday at 2am. Catch up on seasons one to seven on NOW TV.
