The Chase: Paul Sinha reduced to TEARS with Bradley Walsh over THIS epic blunder
PAUL SINHA had to wipe away tears during tonight's episode of The Chase after a contestant made a huge blunder - and Bradley Walsh didn't let it go unnoticed.
The Chase: Contestant eaves hosts CRYING with laughter
The 47-year-old quizzer burst out laughing and had to take a moment to compose himself.
Host Bradley Walsh asked: "Which British cheese gets its name from a backwards spelling of the surname of the farmer who originally made it?"
The potential answers were Stilton, Yarg and Cheddar, leading Bradley to note: "You've put Yarg. Ooh, now then."
Contestant Ed then wrongly explained: "It's Gary backwards, isn't it?" leaving the unimpressed presenter to point out: "Well no, actually, it's gray backwards…"

That's embarrassing. I'm going to get some stick for that
Realising his gaffe, Ed gasped: "Oh dear!" but the giggling had already started for quizzer Paul.
Bradley tried to reassure the contestant and joked: "This is a bit of a trick question because you've got Peter Nostlitz, a famous dairy farming family, and you've got Obadiah Redditch who is a Cornish milkman. You put Yarg, which is Gary backwards to you. The correct answer is… Yarg. Luckily for you, it is."
Ed added: "That's embarrassing. I'm going to get some stick for that," prompting Bradley to jibe: "Really? Hmm."
One viewer tweeted: "Gary backwards - oh dear couldn't get any worse for poor Ed #TheChase," as another posted: "'Gary backwards'??? I'm done. #TheChase," before a third added: "This guy getting shown up on #TheChase."

It came after Ed was asked another amusing question, asking: "While a medical student, which US author used the pen-names John Lange and Jeffrey Hudson when starting his career?"
Given the choice of Robert Ludlam, Michael Crichton and Dean Koontz, Ed picked the latter and said: "Well if I had his name, I'd choose a different one," leaving the chaser and host Bradley in hysterics.
At the end of the show, the Chaser managed to catch all three remaining team members with 32 seconds remaining.
