Daytime TV favourites This Morning, Lorraine, Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women haven't aired today but have instead been replaced by an extended special of Good Morning Britain and ITV’s results programme.
This Morning’s Twitter page shared the news yesterday, in a post which read: “That's all for today! We're not on air tomorrow because of @ITV's election result programme but we'll be back on Mon with a jam-packed show.”
The Loose Women social media page followed: “There is no show tomorrow due to the election results - but we'll be back on Monday!”
Susanna Reid, 46, shared her excitement over today’s lengthy GMB, explaining: “Special, extended @gmb announced for General Election results coverage on Friday June 9th. @piersmorgan & I will be at the desk 6-9.25am.”

GMB's Political Editor, Ranvir Singh, was also reporting with key coverage of the general election.
This Morning fans kicked off over the news, with one avid viewer snapping: “f**k the election, I'd rather watch #ThisMorning any time of the day :(.”
Though, others couldn’t have been happier: “No this morning due to the election #everycloud #thismorning,” wrote another.

Lorraine will also be cancelled for the general election
When Theresa May announced her general election, This Morning viewers were outraged when Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were taken off-air mid-show.
It’s the second time Lorraine has been cancelled this week after the show was replaced on Monday with coverage of the London Bridge terror attack.
This Morning resumes Monday at 10.30am on ITV.
