HE MAY have been praised by Good Morning Britain as he made his return to breakfast television yesterday but today was a very different story as Eamonn Holmes sparked outrage amongst viewers.

The presenter infuriated fans when he commented on the extinction of birds in the UK and asked why the animals were so important.
"Serious question, we all like birds but do we really need birds?" he asked.
Those tuning into the breakfast show were not impressed with his throwaway comment and took to social media to slam his "arrogant" remarks and call for Piers Morgan to return.
"Eamonn Holmes needs to go, what a silly comment, I do not want someone with no passion for animals on a family show disgusting," one tweeted.

Eamonn was left in shock when Richard nearly crashed on a motorbike
It came after he was left shocked when entertainment reporter Richard Arnold was almost involved in a motorbike accident.
He hopped onto the vehicle to rush off to the BAFTA TV nominations but as the bike left the studio it almost collided with an oncoming car.
Eamonn was left speechless by the incident before acknowledging: "That was a close shave, wasn't it?"
