Homes Under The Hammer has a brand new presenter
Martel Maxwell has been announced as the new presenter to star alongside current favourites Martin Roberts and Dion Dublin.
She is replacing Lucy Alexander after she quit in July 2016 following 13 years on the property development programme.
Viewers will no doubt be excited with the new addition to the BBC show which follows developers as they buy properties at auction and attempt to renovate them.
Speaking about the exciting news, Martel said: “I’m so excited to be joining the Homes Under The Hammer team.

The new presenter has had plenty of experience on-screen after working in journalism for a decade.
She has interviewed world famous celebrities for ITV’s Lorraine to being a reporter on The One Show and has also appeared on BBC Scotland across television and radio.

BBC Controller of Programming & Daytime, Dan McGolpin, added: “Martel is an experienced broadcaster with an infectious enthusiasm for improving Britain’s homes, she is the perfect addition to the Homes Under The Hammer presenting team.”
Martel will join Homes Under The Hammer for their 21st series which will air on BBC from June.
Meanwhile, it will be 53-year-old Martin’s first time back on the show since his stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
