Let's Sing & Dance viewers OUTRAGED as BBC cuts LGBT lyrics from Lady Gaga song yet AGAIN
THE BBC have found themselves in trouble with viewers after they cut the LGBT references from a Lady Gaga cover for a second time.
The One Show reporters perform Lady Gaga's Born This Way
On tonight's Let's Sing & Dance for Comic Relief, reporters from The One Show performed a cover of the American singer's 2011 hit Born This Way in order to raise money for charity.
Michelle Ackerley, Dom Littlewood, Angellica Bell, Alex Riley and Iwan Thomas donned extravagant costumes as they sang and danced in front of a live studio audience.
However, a verse from the track which begins: “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life. I’m on the right track baby. I was born to survive”, was notably absent from the performance.
The BBC was criticised last month after some of the hopefuls from Gary Barlow's Let It Shine performed Born This Way without the LGBT lyrics.

Viewers accused the show of "straightening up" the song, which deals with themes of acceptance and tolerance.
Many of those watching at home this evening were furious that the lyrics had been edited out yet again.
One fan raged: "Why do they always cut out the 'gay, straight or bi...' section of BTW when people impersonate on tv to save time?! #LetsSingAndDance."
"What is it with TV 'talent' shows cutting out the key parts of Born This Way? #LetsSingAndDance," another asked.
The BBC got in trouble last month after a similar edit was made to the song in Let It Shine
Someone else hit out: "WTF @BBCOne missing important lyrics out from a Lady Gaga song. OUT OF ORDER YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!! #LetsSingAndDance #EqualityMatters."
"Weeks after the BBC are slammed for cutting the gay lyrics in Born This Way, they... cut the gay lyrics in Born This Way #LetsSingAndDance," a fourth tweeted.
While a fifth commented: "@BBCOne yet again removing the LGBT lyrics from "born this way" #LetsSingAndDance #comicrelief."
When contacted by Express.co.uk, a BBC spokesperson said: "Born This Way by Lady Gaga performed by The One Show reporters on Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief was shortened purely for length.
"It is standard procedure to edit down music tracks to fit into the running time of the show."
