Lawrence Hill from Hertfordshire was auditioning for the ITV talent competition when the incident happened.
The 25-year-old singer was coming towards the end of his performance when Will started to rub the ink off from his button.
Turning around by surprise, Will looked shocked, but fans are suspicious that the whole scenario was scripted.
Awkwardly explaining why he had turned around, Will said: "Check this out, sometimes magical things happen. Before you went on I drew a face. I realised there was a smudge on it.

Lawrence added: "Energies that we can't control are in control at the moment," before Jennifer Hudson said: "I don't know about that, but your coach is crazy."
"I've never felt so insulted yet happy at the same time in my entire life! I'm going to prove to him that I deserve a place on that team," said Lawrence.
