Schofield DESTROYS This Morning set in Keith Lemon rant
The Through The Keyhole host ended up limping over the festive period after the freak accident.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Keith said that he was fortunate to have landed on one side of his bottom.
"I’ve got a bruised bum and a bit of a cough," the comedian explained. "I fell off me wall trying to get in my house. I couldn’t open the gate and I fell off the wall and landed on the spike that stops the gate going any further."
"It wasn’t a spike like a pointy spike, more like an oblong shape. A couple of inches over and it would have been inside me and I would’ve been pooing cubes.

The Leeds-born star said: "I’m really excited about 2017. I think it’s going to be ace and hopefully no celebrities will die.
"And other people, non-celebrities. Lets all try and live this year."
The Celebrity Juice star was devastated to hear about the death of Carrie Fisher
Keith was particularly saddened to hear about Star Wars actress, Carrie Fisher's death, as the pair had worked together on the Keith Lemon Sketch Show.
He said: "I was really sad about Carrie Fisher because we’d filmed with her on the sketch show that we do and she was so nice and a good sport and so funny.
"She was Princess Leia! It was horrible that she died."
