Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the former EastEnders star said the duo’s rift - which many have speculated could have contributed to his elimination yesterday - was never a serious issue, and has been completely resolved.
“All the friction, as it were, that’s been listed between Martin and I was all on camera,” he said via video-link from Australia.
“He said to me, ‘have I upset you’, and I said, ‘the way you go about things wasn’t quite how we’ve been doing it. When we came back from doing that test the other afternoon, you just wandered in and took everything over and left me like a lemon’.
“He said ‘sorry’, there was nothing unsettled.”

The star added: “I’m sure Martin and I would have a wonderful working relationship, and I’m sure neither of us would choose to go home and live with each-other!”
On who he thinks will win the series, Larry mused: “It’s so wide open now. I’m just astonished to see what’s going on now I’ve gone.
“Just to see what way it’s going to go… Now is not the time for me to make a judgement because it’s wide open now.”
When asked about the unusual amount of food this year’s campmates have had, he suggested: “The thing is, the reason we’ve had a lot of food is because people were pulling together rather than against each other. We very rarely went without food.”
He and Martin are unlikely to be BFFs
Now only a handful of contenders remain in the run-up to Sunday’s final: Sam Quek, Wayne Bridge, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, Joel Dommett and Martin Roberts.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly on ITV. Good Morning Britain continues daily at 6am on the same channel.
