The professional dancer came close to tears as she talked about the actor's courage ahead of his tango this weekend.
During a live interview with Zoe Ball on It Takes Two, the 26-year-old was forced to stop talking as she gushed about Danny and his talent for dancing.
Speaking about Musicals Week and their routine to One Night Only from Dreamgirls, Oti commented: "It's a disco song and we're trying to dance a tango to it, so I think that is the tricky part.
"But, it is a fast number! We danced it and I was almost crying. I said, 'Danny, you do not realise…'"
