X FACTOR waved goodbye to Honey G during tonight's dramatic episode but the contestant is not done fighting for a record contract.

The hopeful left the competition tonight after the judging panel chose to save 5 After Midnight in the sing-off
Honey G thanked everyone at the show for her experience, saying: “I think you’re incredible. The X factor team have been amazing. This has been a completely life-changing experience for me.”
However, on the Xtra Factor, the departing rapper took the opportunity to propose a plan for a record deal in front of Simon Cowell.
Honey said: “I’d really, really like to get a record deal with Simon Cowell, I have my heart set on that.

Simon smiled and said: “We don’t make any decisions until after the show.”
It was also revealed that Simon was upset that Honey G left him out of a personal “G” rendition during her sing-off.
Honey G treated the 57-year-old to his own “I say Honey, you say G” to keep him content.

Just four acts now remain in the competition but the final eight will all appear on the arena tour.
The result comes after a shock stage invasion during last night’s live episode.
Members of internet prank site Troll Station ambushed Honey G on stage.
The X Factor semi-final continues next Saturday with Christmas Week on ITV at 8pm.
