DANNY MAC has discussed his personal heartache on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two tonight.
Danny Mac opens up about tough week on Strictly
Danny, 28, became very emotional after he performed an Argentine tango with partner, Oti Mabuse, on Saturday night's show.
The actor teared-up as he was awarded a leaderboard-topping 38 points for the dance, saying he'd had a "very tough week".
Danny revealed a little more to presenter Zoe Ball as he discussed preparing for the show-stopping tango.
"I threw a lot of focus into this one," he said. "As people may have seen I had a bit of a tough week that week, personally, so the dance was my escape from that so I threw everything into it.

Oti was amazing all week with me
"Oti was amazing all week with me and we just got on with the work.
"It just felt like it was all I could think about because that's all I could let myself think about."
Although he did not explicitly say what had happened, it was clear from Zoe's reply that it was a family matter.
She told Danny: "I know you dedicated it to your dad, sending lots of love to your family as well."
