Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon reveals she cried while filming Bethany's bullying scenes
HER character may appear to be quite feisty but Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt in Coronation Street, has revealed her bullying scenes have taken their toll.

Lucy's character has already been subjected to bullying from girls at her school but it's all set to get a lot worse.
In upcoming scenes, the youngster will be tormented about her mum Sarah's behaviour following the discovery of Callum Logan's body.
The bullies will also send her abuse about her body, with Lauren (Shannon Flynn) calling her a "fat virgin".
Speaking about filming the scenes, the actress told OK!: "They're quite harrowing. It's upsetting to think that happens in real life.

"There was one scene where I was crying for real and it took me ages to stop."
The 20-year-old added that she has never experienced bullying firsthand but from talking to those who have she understands how awful it can be.
"I do know what girls can be like," she continued. "I've been called nasty things, but I don't let it bother me.

"I feel good that I've done the storyline justice, but I don't want to be a spokesperson for bullying."
Lucy's character had confided in Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) about the trouble she has been having at school but now she is leaving, Bethany feels all alone.
Discussing Paula's departure from the ITV soap, Lucy commented: "I'm really sad. It really works with the while dynamics of the Platt family together, but she's got to do what she's got to do.
"It's good for her to try other things."
